My goal was...a Japanese company! Lol. I got a couple interviews with some Japanese companies and learned the hard way that their expectations are rather high for even the positions themselves they wanted filling. But in the end I got an interview (thanks to my employment agency) with a very traditional company (121 years old that is).
I now work for the world's number 1 manufacturer of Matcha green tea known for being served in Japanese tea ceremonies which I happened to love when I was in Japan. What a coincidence! All I can say is that I enjoy drinking tea every day while working and getting some opportunities to travel for conventions (last weekend was Seattle).
I can say I'm fortunate to work for a company that has remained interesting to me for more than a year now and in this economy too. I'm hoping the world of Matcha will expand to an every day drink for those in Japan and the Americas!
MWAHAHAHA~~~
